A note for every customer-visible change. More than 300 box releases since the end of August 2026.
A Z-Wave controller has been ordered for the box, so Z-Wave door sensors, plugs and thermostats join Zigbee, Matter, Bluetooth and 433 MHz as local-control families. Support lands once the hardware is in and proven on the test boxes.
The box keeps a short attention list of devices that need you. A sensor that has stopped reporting, one that has been opened or knocked, and one with a flat battery are all named in plain words, so you do not have to hunt through screens to find the problem.
A sensor that is opened, removed or knocked now raises a Home Watch notice. It is the first piece of Home Watch running on production boxes, ahead of arming modes, which are still in development.
The box now has a single Bluetooth receiver that hears every advertisement and passes it to the right handler. Shelly BLU buttons, KBeacon wearables, iBeacons and a car battery monitor, with its voltage history shown as a box device, all arrive through it.
The box now programs the small KBeacon BC021 itself, so there is nothing to set up on a phone. It reports movement and stillness, battery level and temperature, and a press means "I need someone now". Worn as a pendant or kept by the chair.
Readings from a smart meter can now reach the box through the Glowmarkt (Bright) service, whichever UK supplier you are with. It is running on test boxes and is not yet on every production box.
The forum at forum.huze-automation.co.uk is open, with General, Support and Suggestion Box categories. It is the place to ask questions, report problems and tell us what the box should do next.
